Although I have been quiet on the blog, things have been quite the opposite. Now, though, I think life will return to normal and I'll be blogging more. Sorry for the silence.
Did a good hour of cardio yesterday, which felt great. My hamstrings are still sore and tight from Saturday - yes, that was three days ago. Hopefully by tonight (my next leg workout)they'll be feeling a little better. After my upper body workout last night, I could barely, if at all, lift my arms. Brutal.
Had an appointment at 7AM with Dr Nahata today. There is improvement in the color of my teeth. We are hoping to go a little bit whiter, though, so I'll keep using my whitening trays for another 10 days, then we'll re-evaluate.
Nutrition I thought was going well, until my three carb day yesterday Lisa informed me was actually five carbs. Ugh - frustrating, when I thought I understood it. I just hope I didn't do too much damage. At least with the Vitabot tool, Lisa can catch it right away. So glad she's so diligent and caring. Thanks for catching it, Lisa! I had a struggle with trying to ignore birthday party and restuarant food this weekend. I normally wouldn't even go to a restaurant, but I didn't have much choice this weekend. That was tough, as there was literally one thing on the menu I could eat, and the side options were all carbs. They had no non-carb veggies. Annoying. But I survived.
As Cheryl posted, I, too, am looking forward to our fitness assessment this week. Very curious where all the measurements and heart rates will fall. I'll let you know.

httpihey cherish erik here again relax its gonna happen 3 carb days or what ever we are only human and take a step back look and see that yes i had a 3 carb day and it bothers you huh?well all the traing and tools lisa has given you with the vita bot and the personal trainers are working and yes lisa can only be on top of it only if you r truthful to her and yourself like me she asks hey erik hows nutrion i smile 2 thumbs up and she knows its not good and im lieing im a terrible liar and she yells at me for a few minutes and i go work out and before ft i did not care about carbs and such now im at a point where i eat 2 cookies im beating my self up and saying why!!!! and then i see lisa who is ready to kill me after reading my journal so life goes on its what you do to undo the damage you did like brian and ana told me keep going down that road and see how long and how hard its to fix what you did to your body by overindulgeing with the carbs so drink that beer after your workout see what happens damn they were right no good results but im back on track and my eval assement is not going to be great good but not great and i gaurentee yours will be awesome and you will be excited with your results rember when doing your physical portion push ups sit ups ect dont give the trainers the satisfaction of letting them see you quit give 110%and then some look deep in your self and u will be surprised what you will find ill be routing for you and your teammate on assesment say keep up the hard work it will get easier at some point your fellow client erik b.
